How to delete the account name character

I skipped-the-fun with the character that holds my account name, and I'd like to try a different STF build. (The STF character is not my Main.) But I have no idea what will happen to my account when I delete the character whose name I use to login to the website. Will it go to another character, or will the whole account get closed?

Can anyone help?

Your account and your chars are two different things even if the names are the same.
You can without a problem delete that char and STF another one.

If you wanna reserver that char name make sure you log in with that char to one of the servers after you delete it so a fresh level 1 placeholder gets created.
