Can't heirloom a weapon.

 I just retired after weeks of constant play so I could heirloom a Great Long Bardiche. When I try to heirloom weapons it doesn't show up! Neither does my heraldic trans armor/some other!

It could be because you do not meet the requirements to use those items.  If you can't use the item you cannot heirloom it.
