Opinions on a build?

I have a vision for an all around fighter, who uses a sword, shield, and bow, and can ride a Destrier and do some HA if I feel like it.  Here's the builds I've come up with.

The only reason you could want any attribute not to be a multiple of 3 is getting STR 16 instead of 15 to use some polearms.

Re-do that with skill/attribute conversions.

Also, ATH is widely considered to be the most useful agi skill, even if you go for a horseman. Another thing is that ranged wpf is much more useful than melee wpf, especially on horse.

The problem with that build isn't your 1h wpf. You won't do anything with your, bow at all. You'll have a hard time killing a naked peasant with it.

You'd be better off with a crossbow, tbh.

Convert 2 agility to skill points as not having multiples of three is useless. You can then have 2 more WM for your bow, and 2 more athletics.

Your build though is a gimp build. You can hybrid into a melee who can also ride (athletic), you can hybrid to a crappy archer who can also sword and shield, or you can go pure horsearcher (HA is one of the worst classes to hybrid). Combining all of these though is pretty much suicide.

I suggest you make your main the cav sword and shielder (maybe use a light crossbow like xant said), and a second character (an Alt) into a HA.

I don't know WHY I didn't change that 17 to a 15.  Brain fart.  Anyways, I've changed it to 15 and got a bunch more points to play with.  Tell me what you think of the new version, please!

(Also, I like IF.  I'd like to be able to take a couple hits without being a tin can, so my archery won't be super-god awful.

As long as you snag 5PD, 5PS, and a decent amount of archery proficiency, you're golden.  With only 2-3 HA, slow down for your shots.

I've updated the OP with the two builds I'm debating.  Is 5 hp and 6ps worth having less archery skill?

Use the second one, 4PD means you can hurt people in light armour, 3 PD is lackluster.

I wouldn't worry too much about 0 ironflesh since you have a shield. 5 power strike/athletics/power draw is a must.

you are fucking horse archer you dont need shield. i had shield skill 1 and it was doing the job properly,no need for 4 shield.
