Polearm/Cav Question

As a noob cav, can anyone give me a reason why should i loom a Great Lance? Since i can kill anything with couch mode, neither pierce damage nor atack speed works on me, i think looming lance should increase it's weapon length.

Don't loom it. All it does is make it where instead of one shotting everything, it... Oneshots everything...

Seriously, please do not loom it unless you are something like gen 22 and ran out of things and want a novelty item.
