Pretty much self explanatory.
Pointlessly confusing that range does 2/3rds damage "behind the scenes" when you can simply change the values of the items themselves so players are not totally clueless when new to the game.
So, my proposal is simple:
Step One: Revert range damage modifier to 100%
Step Two: Cut all range damage values (crossbows, throwing and bows) by a third for all range items, and update the shop and in-game values to reflect this. So for example, a Horn Bow would change from 24 cut to 16 cut.The end effect will be identical, and this helps clarify the real values for new players.
Also, before someone derails this thread...
I don't give a crap whether you think the range nerf was for good or bad, keep that pointless drivel to another thread.
