Heirloomed items on alts

I heirloomed items on alts before they implemented trading, it would be nice if they made it so you can trade heirloomed items only off of alts.
or even an option to transfer heirloomed items from alts to main.

Easily exploitable, you could go max level with your main while still loom items with your alts that your main would get ...

I would say a one-time exchange for loom points would be ok, but it's not easily implemented in a proper way if you're thinking on a permanent trade time.

Both of these suggestions are defacto the same thing; your main can just buy the thing from your alt on the marketplace with the first example, and your main can trade it with the second.

If you have some sort of loom-only trading system you'd see a lot of bogus loom items being traded around frequently just in order to take stuff from the alts.  If you allow cash in the trades then the alt can trade gold to the main and that's specifically what they're trying to prevent (because I'd wear black plate all day errday again)

How is it a bad thing to be able to give your main more looms? you still have to put all the time on your alt to get to 31...
I am trying to get more looms on my main because of all the changes made since i stopped retiring.
For example increased upkeep. so i can't use the looms i have now so i would like to loom some cheaper equipment. but since I am at 100m xp retiring and wasting all that xp is out of the question.
The only way to get more looms is to trade and what is on the market right now is mostly all the high upkeep items that i can't afford to use all the time.

I would prefer if people couldn't use gold in any way with alts though, or else we will see alot of people grinding in peasant gear with alts to get gold and the other 1/2 of the time using full plate/all the most expensive gear on the main.

Best of both worlds, that is why.

With giving Mains heirlooms, your main can now go past level 30 and stop retiring, and your alts farm looms for it.

Wit the current system, you have to make the choice, and the only way to get looms is to grind for gold on your main and use the market.
