Barely anyone uses Two-handed sword, here's why:

Longsword
speed rating: 98
weapon length: 106
thrust damage: 23 pierce
swing damage: 36 cut

Two Handed Sword
speed rating: 95 (-3)
weapon length: 110 (+4)
thrust damage: 22 pierce
swing damage: 38 cut

Great Sword
speed rating: 93 (-2)
weapon length: 120 (+10)
thrust damage: 26 pierce
swing damage: 37 cut

In short there's some heavy stats inconsistency of elements in this sword line as two-handed sword is too slow considering that it has just barely more reach than the longsword and it cant be used on horseback.

Ad option #2. Greatsword 120 minus longsword 106=14 /2 comes down to 7, and that means it should have 113 range, but I'd vote for 114 as it cant be used on horseback.

Agreed, this sword really is underused because it really is out classed by other weapons for every purpose.

GS - 12k => TwoHandedSword - 8k = 4k difference.
TwoHandedSword - 8k => LS - 6,5k = 1,5k difference.

Seems balanced to me.

Actually i like using it.
Decent damage, enough range and doesnt get stuck everywhere.
If you want make it 97 speed if you dont im fine too.

Just use it a bit i guess you´ll see that its bettern then its stats would suggest.
Only thing i dont like to much is the low stab cause a bit higher would it make a good alrounder.

We don't change weapon reach as we like. It's bound to the model length and as long as you don't provide a new, longer sword model it stays as it is.

Are you forgetting the two handed sword does 2 more cut damage than the longsword and 1 more than the great sword?

Edit. Thats the point, longsword is even cheaper.

I'm aware of that, thats why boosting the speed is sort of "main idea" behind this thread. You can change that, cant you?

And 2 less than Sword of War, which is basically a swing-version of Great Sword. Right, I might have picked wrong sword as the third sample.
