seriously...
ok.. first time the battle happened, occitan was down to 4 players left alive, 0 tickets, and the server crashed. we had lost 120 or so troops and had gained quite a bit of gear at the end thanks to our archers looting lots of bows. but it crashed, so at first we werent sure if the battle ended or crashed, we checked the battle list, it was still listed, we checked the battle history list in strat, not listed anywhere (which only happens for ongoing battles). so we asked our mercs to hang out until na3 came back up. an hour later it still wasnt back up... loki found shik in irc and explained the situation and tried to contact hosp/occ. couple guys in na1 also informed any hosp/occ they could find.
battle 2. only 4 hosp/occ showed up, we had about 30% of our players show up, we capped the flags and it was over... end result? we lost 1 troops, they lost 9, we captured 20? troops from them, and a few items... less than we had captured from beating their army... so the occitan army essentially got away with hardly any losses at all. we would have preferred the first outcome, the only reason there is so much bitching is because occitan and them want a chance to do better than the first time... the second out come was already far better for you, so just be glad you got to walk away with 90% of that army and its gear intact.
