DTV Map

I would like to take a crack at making a non-shitty DTV map that does not require glitching to win, but rather teamwork (if possible with a good map setup).

Is there anything special I need to know for DTV maps?  Are new DTV maps even being considered for the rotation?

Seems like you only need those 5 spawnpoints to get it workin for dtv. The virgin will just spawn where you set the player-spawn.


Also, if jacko approves of your map (No autowin for the attackers!) i will talk to Lothar and he can put it on the HRE-server.

Quincies have just made a map for DTV but we got a problem. We cant seem to test it. It doesnt appear on the list when we select DTV as a game mode. Could anyone help. We put all entry points and AI Meshes... HAAAALP!

Try replacing one of the other dtv maps.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Did that and rly strange stuff happened...
Even Fips cant figure it out...
Basically the terrain changes when i replace the existing DTV map. Terrain code was properly copy/pasted and it still bugged. Fips tired it as well. It works fine when it is scn_blank_xxx but when i rename it to scn_village_xxx and c/p code its totally bugged...
Any ideas?
