Axes: bonus against doors/ladders?

I've heard people talking that bonus against shield weapons are good for doors and ladder destruction as well.  I've not heard anything reliable though. 

Whats the consensus?  Are these weapons also "bonus against doors/constructions?"

I have not noticed my Heavy Poleaxe requiring less swings to take out a Siege Ladder then my Danish does.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.

I use a fighting axe and a MW NCS regularly against doors and feel no difference. With ladders i dont know though

To ladders 1h axe deals much more than 1h sword. (if i wasn't dreaming  :twisted:)

I got a response from an admin in my other thread.

Axe bonus to shields is 100%
Axe bonus to constructions/doors is 10%
