STF - Name Change Error

I recently had a name change go through on my STF character. However, all this did was create a level 1 character with the new name, and keep my old character/old name at level 30. (Usually it is the opposite. New character/name with the mirrored stats, and then the old character name at level 1)

Any help would be appreciated.

That's how it works with name changes. When you apply for name change, it creates a blank char with the new name to reserve it for you. When an admin accepts your name change, the blank char is (usually ) deleted and old char's name is really changed.
