Longsword one handed or two handed?

I have just realized something... The speed and the damage of the two handed sword seems to be the same one handed and two handed... does this means there is absolutely no advantage taking the longsword two handed? Is it simply not written? The longsword with two hands should be a little stronger than one hand... otherwise, why taking it with 2 hands and not taking a shield?

When you use a 1h/2h weapon with a shield, its MUCH slower, and secretly weaker. The stats don't show it, but it doesn't do as much damage. theres no comparison in the speed either, 2h usage is SO much faster then than 1h/shield usage.

I think that weapons are have 30% less damage and speed when used as a one hander..
