Indigocylinder you´re right even Without legs, archers will find a way to run away from raging infantry, we don´t have the choice anyway!!
Good one +1 for you (even if i disagree with your proposal)

Indigocylinder do you know that actually jumping is worse for archers than just turning around?^^

Running is faster than jumping --> if you turn around with a jump you will lose some distance between target and yourself. Actually you can turn around without jumping as fast as with jumping^^

For aiming, jumping is also worse to be honest. When you draw your bow and you jump/ turn around, you have to wait until you are on the ground again and then 1-2 seconds more, until your reticule is small and you can shoot.
When you turn around without jumping, you don't need the jump seconds until it's done^^

I don't know why archers are doing it, I do it myself the whole time, although it's stupid :D
So be happy we do this and stop complaining.


Cup1d: One of the best posts ever :D  I always ask myself how a person can jump with a plated horse and do a 180° or how a plated guy jumps half a meter into the air and comes down without breaking his knees  :lol:

Archers have anyway more athletics than str melee characters, usually 6 to 8.
So if you disable them the jump, they'll just run farther away, longer, before just turning and shooting, then running again. Same thing will happen.
Except that nowadays, jumping is such that they sometimes do errors. :twisted:

So... no. It won't change anything from you being shot at if you're trying to catch up to an archer alone, with no horse, on heavier gear than the archer, with probably less athletics.

Make low ps archers worse would help the issue.
