Player's responsibilities
1. Use common sense and help the process of playing, rather than disrupt it.
- No intentional TK. If a TK happens, you must apologise.
- Any physical contact (?) between players of the same side, without the consent of both, will be moderated.
2. Treat other players with respect.
- Respectful messages in game chat.
- Swearing and rudeness of all forms and types is forbidden.
3. Put all your efforts towards winning the round for your team.
- Forbidden to spawn without a weapon or clothes; forbidden to run from the fight, when you are the last alive.
- Forbidden to use Warband glitches; f.ex.: shooting, whilst going through from under a bridge, and so on.
4. It is allowed to break ladders (in order to win round, not just for lulz)
- When going up, remember that you might not be able to get down safely.
- Players must no longer jump down the moment their ladders are destroyed (look below)
- In case of an impending draw, "roofcampers" must make themselves accessible to the other team by any means necessary - by jumping or climbing down or putting down a ladder to make themselves reachable
5. Only use kick/ban polls when other options are exhausted.
- Always notify an admin of the reason of the poll.
6. Always follow the directions of an administrator
- Discussions with admins only outside of the game (forums, TS, etc.)
Player's rights:
Player is within his rights to expect others to obey the rules of the server and to expect an adequate reaction to the breaking of these.
Important! Player has the right to receive detailed information about the reasons of administrative measures taken against him (warnings/kicks/bans), including ingame.
In-game - short version. Detailed on forums or personally (by choice).
Most of players have the right (or the duty
) to receive (within reason) information about administrative sanctions before they are made.
The order of punishments: Warning (min. 1), kick (min. 2), ban (to a determined time).
In case of admins blatantly abusing their duties/powers or (god forbid!) rudely breaking the server rules, players have the right to demand that the admin be relieved of his position. However, this requires solid evidence.
But if the desire of the players for this is great, it shouldn't be a problem.
Advice for players:
Please obey the rule:
"Discussions with admins only outside of the game (forums, TS, etc.)"
Resolve all conflicts outside of game, preferably in this thread or personally in TS or through the LS (?) forums.
К рассмотрению принимаются только четкие, ясные (и желательно подтвержденные чем либо) вопросы. -???
If attempts are made to make it personal or to divert to non-related topics, the issue might be closed altogether.
Calm, peaceful and friendly behaviour (no matter how you really feel) guarantees swift and adequate handling of any situation and, what is more important, a desirable outcome.
There are no unsolvable problems, only ones with the wrong approach.
Remember this. (ohhhh, EU community really could benefit from this advice
)
In any case, it is recommended to treat the work (and it is, indeed, work) of admins with understanding.
If mistakes happen (such as, mixing up nicknames and others), don't make it the end of the world, it is just a misunderstanding that can easily be corrected, with the right attitude.
