it's so simple... don't trade loompoints until the marketplace can do it safely.
you thought "i hope this guy isn't a scammer... or i'll have to bother the devs in getting my stuff back." ?
if you trade loompoints and stuff not covered by the site system, you should not do it... or at least do it with people you REALLY know.
