No, a headshot is a headshot and if you're not wearing a decent helm, well, sorry, ur ded. Otherwise, 50% health.
But for light armour, 2 shots. Med armour 3. Plate - well, then maybe 4 and only with a longbow.
From what I understand, in the past it was 1-shot hell. That's unbalanced in the wrong direction for sure.
