CRPG-Appreciation-Thread

Also take into heavy consideration, this mod is only a bit over a year in age. Already, it is the first and foremost mod in Warband. No other mod has the same amount of active players as in c-rpg. People even buy Warband solely so they can play c-rpg. I think this speaks for itself, consider yourselves lucky to be able to take part in such a mod.

I bought this game without knowing of CRPG. Out of luck it was the first server i joined and after that i was hooked. Maybe 1 hour total M&B-Vanilla. Countless hours CRPG.

I think the people in this community would do well without so much complaining about the bugs/glitches etc (beta) but instead appreciating the time and blood, sweat and tears the devs put in this mod.
It being a "beta" means that we play an unfinished version and so are able to get the taste of it but at the same time it means we're testing it out for bugs and balancing issues etc,.

People should stop thinking about this game the same way they think about commercial ones. This one comes from Independent Developers who probably code in their bedroom in their spare time. They don't earn any money with it. They also have no interna who can playtest this software before it reaches its "consuments". And if they have, they have not nearly enough. With their scant resources in time and money, how do you think should they be able to find all this bugs/glitches/DaveUKRs on their own? AND continue developing new features?
You need scores of players testing to get them all (pokemon reference!).

This is basically what we do here. We find the bugs. The devs code them out. In their spare time. Under a lot of pressure about the whining community.

Put yourself in this position for once. Imagine you put a LOT of your freetime in only one task. Since over a year. And most of the "appreciation" you get is whining and complaining about stuff you could impossibly foresee or just have looked over (because you're just a human too, you know?). Maybe one day you get fed up and say "fuck it". Maybe one day you loose the fun or drive or whatever it was that kept you going.
And on this day the mod will finally and truly be killed.

I'd rather have this day some long time in the future and keep feeding my addiction with this mod. So at least from me a hearty "Thank you".

Stop spamming these threads every single time something happens and people rage.

Use the search function next time.

Oh, and btw, the devs don't need spam, what they do need is donations.

I rest my case, dismissed.

Lol, that happened earlier tonight, and I would have been able to retire had the server not been down. It came back up for about 5 minutes, then went down AGAIN! and I could have retired again.. All I needed was 700k tonight, and I probably made over 1200k, so yeah.. I are mad. Ah yeah, I'm at least 500k still from retiring when the site does come back

What sweat, what blood? Tears? Gay....

Would've anyhow been better with a few selected persons acting as beta testers and each trying a different build and giving their opinion on it to the devs. Instead of having a big bugfest and nerf QQ fest.
