This doesn't apply to all maps, but some of the village maps have spawns that are simply WAY too close for Strategus battles of 60 vs 60. So far, I've noticed that Bhuluban and Reveran spawning positions are spaced far too closely together.
As it stands now, imagine two armies, Army A with 60 and Army B with 500 (or 5,000, or 50,000!). The 60 man army uses platemail and good weapons and the army of 500 goes with a balanced mix of mediocre gear. Because the army of 500 can only field an army of 60 at a time, they're already at a major disadvantage. Factor in capturable spawn points, and suddenly that numbers advantage is actually a disadvantage because they can't even use their numbers and have wasted their time and resources into armor and troops that are all going to be lost (or taken by the victor).
I don't imagine this is how we want Strategus to work. The FIRST thing to do is put some distance between the spawns so they don't just get tincan/steel shield mobbed. Second, the capturable spawn points need to be given some thought and debate. It's GREAT to have objectives, but these objectives are way, way too valuable and losing them just for the moment means nothing less than an immediate defeat since the only way to retake them is being taken away- more troops.
