Zendar-The independant Mercenary state

For all the clanless people to have something to do, or a place were they won't be attacked or hunted by clans, make an independant city, which you can't attack (or make it suicide to attack, like a crazy impossible map to attack, with many defender gold and troops) where clanless people can try to work and recruit.

In many mods Zendar is the mercenary faction, so clans could buy troops, equipment sets (ex: 100 archer equip sets= 100 bows, 100-200 arrows, and some armor), or mercenaries (ex: 100 archer equip sets+100 troops) in Zendar.

Couldn't clanless people such as myself just recruit/earn gold in a fief? I believe we're safe there.

In the previous strat: all clanless people were attacked or demanded to leave most of the clans territorry, so they could earn more money/get more recruits, and they were all bunched up at the clans who allowed them to enter, and those clans suffered during the wars, because they didn't have enough gold/recruits.

I'm sorry to saythat if you are clanless, the main thing you can do is sign up for battles, which does not require gold nor troops or even you moving anywhere on the map.

Strategus is not really built for clanless people, so I recommend joining a clan or the Mercs or DFC if they will take you to participate in strat as more then just a randomer.

By youself you don't need troops nor gold anyways as you simply can not compete against any clan if you want land.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

What a bullshit, clanless people were ALWAYS highly welcome because they payed taxes.

Yeah, well you know, that's just like, your opinion, man.

I bet Zendar Hunters Guild approves of this. For those who dont know what Zendar is, it is a small town that used to be in mount & blade. It was neutral and the player started there.
Why is everybody telling me to think? I think, I just don't show it.

i'm UP for help this project, but a new city is not needed, we can conquer an existing city/village/castle and use it as a "free players hub", and imho a neutral mercenary/merchant faction should be nice to play :D

although I have a clan, this is a great idea.

suggestions:  get something in the middle of the map so you are in a central location and can travel anywhere quickly.

In D&D Darksun setting, the free city is called Tyr.

If your clanless you should just join a faction.  Someone cool, like... The Farmers
(or any of the other clans that you like)

If you like being clanless you should probably just hang out in a fief like earthenforced said and maybe oneday get hired by a faction wanting to surprise an enemy by using clanless people to move troops in.
