Weight of an arrows and quiver

This is old problem in cRPG, but after last patch weight was increased once more.

Let's talk about Real Life weight.

Weight of an arrow for longbow (length of an arrow 85-95cm) = 50 gram
Weight of 20 arrows IRL = 1 kg
Weight of an leather quiver (quiver capacity - 20 arrows) = 455 gram

Therefore RL quiver with 20 arrows weigh 1,5 kg.

I wonder, why ingame quiver with 20 arrows weigh 4 kg?

Balance, game mechanics?

As many other things, this is not related to RL.

Cool. Archer's items was changed, both bows and arrows.

Bows. - 30% to projectile speed - Because IRL arrow can't fly faster than bolt.  Real life argument. No one interested in Balance and Game Mechanics terms.
Arrows. + 33% to quivers weight (in case of standart arrows + 66%). There we use Balance and Game Mechanics argument. No one interested in Real life argument.

Double standarts?

In native weight of quiver justified. Quiver with 30 arrows weigh 3.0 kg. Yes, I understand that silly Warband developers doesn't know anything about balance.

There are almost infinite arbitrary ways to reach balance. If your only criteria is "balance" then the game becomes a faceless mish-mash of compromises and compensations.

All item weights should be realistic and consistent.

I'm still interested, why balance team add weight to arrows?

DaveUKR wanted it?

Well, actually not.
To clear things. MW arbalest:
 -26.6% of speed
 -9.5% accuracy
 - No Buff (damage added is taken from bolts and it actually leaded to -accuracy)

So you can make only 8 shots with 170 effective wpf and 24 agility per minute (without any time to move or aim, just reload and shoot) and it costs 1315 gold to repair it. Things are pretty balanced
