Updating to new patch

Hi guys so I downloaded patch .230, extracted it, then placed it in the Mount & Blade Warband modules but still no luck. Should I delete the previous patch and replace it with the new data?

If you arent using steam, remember to update warband itself as well.

Im using v1.134 and GameSpy Comrade. It says everything is up to date.

Just one more thing, how do I update to the new patch? I just downloaded and executed the new Warband version and merged the new patch data with the old one at the Warband>Modules in program files yet it still says v 0.223 when I run the game.

do not merge, delete old first.
