General Discussion / Re: Bannerbalance on official NA servers?
« on: September 27, 2011, 09:22:45 pm »
Am I wrong in thinking that banner balance is completely dumb and makes it possible for entire clans (who are potentially a bunch of pros) to completely destroy the other team all the time, leading to noobs being left out all the time?

Or doesn't it work that way?

I think it's neat that it takes forever to get to 31. It's like how when I first started playing tin cans were people who could take meteor strikes to the face, then it lost the coolness because suddenly there were tin cans everywhere and it wasn't difficult to become one myself.

Sort of back in vanilla wow how getting a mount was considered incredible and those who didn't own mounts were peasants.

Some dude told me one time that everyone should have a shield.

I'm a two hander and I don't know how many times that bit of wood has saved me.

It's obviously because crpg isn't forgiving, it has balance issues (lol cudgel knockdown and murder tincan, so real) and is also very unforgiving.

People get frustrated and since there's a chat, why not express it to your fellow crpg players who don't really care about what you're talking about anyway.

I mean, have you ever injured yourself, like stubbed your toe and not swore or at least made an angry expression on your face? Losing in crpg is sort of like stubbing your toe.

It hurts.
