Its been acting glitchy.  Ive seen it repeatedly happen where people apply in last 30 to 50 minutes and not get hired this round.  Oftentimes with earlier battles that is just when they get home from work.  AI should have one last hire 5 minutes before battle, no reason not to.

Yeah this happened to me last night with one of the castle defenses. I applied about 45min before hand on the AI side to no avail, I got lucky the attackers hired me instead with 5min to go.

Interesting thread necro but the NA playerbase should hope for a FCC return this strat. At least there would be more real battles finally.

If you're caught in Special Education area without talking to someone you will be attacked because it's called closed borders, if you make yourself an 'easy target' that shits on you doggie.

Yeah, to be fair, GForce did immediately go after Hospitallers who were around them in the same numbers. There are much better examples of nerds holding hands refusing to fight and only going after 5man clans than Gforce attacking S/D thiefs.

i do agree it sucks to see clans wiped out and not coming back, i just dont see how to stop it from happening.

There is your issue, people just throw in the towel once they have been "beaten". Doesn't matter if it is a small clan or large clan, most just give up and don't return. Look at other games in the past with some type of conquest system, like Darkfall. People begin to care too much about their precious pixels, then we they lose them for any reason, it's game over and quit. That same issue is part of the reason why so many clans immediately group together in dumb hand holding alliances. Oh no, a faction that's slightly larger than us doesn't like us, time to get 3 other clans to be our partners. Oh no, that one time at band camp Faction A helped Faction B, so we clearly need 5-6 allies now. It's happened multiple times in every Strat I have participated in.

Ultimately, the NA player base in Strat has just gotten so small even a 10 man clan quitting hurts it tremendously.

What the hell, I got teleported to the EU map and attacked again.

Yeah, if you got ported over there and didn't check the area you are in with regards to buying and selling at their fiefs, you were probably attacked. Generally, you should try and give people heads up if you are coming through their land, especially if using S/D.

Doubtful considering the previous GForce posts labeling Acre as part of the bad clans they want to take on at some point. Personally, I welcome it, hopefully it means more actual battles between even armies rather than this garbage of geared armies against peasant battles.

Also, certain posters need to step back and look at what they have done in Strat so far before complaining about LCO/Gforce merging.
