Hey guys!

Dynamike asked me to post a few words here because we have been talking via PM about me joining. 

Basically I am 24 year old guy living in Chicago, IL.  I came here to study 3D animation and just graduated from DePaul University.  Being a post-grad in this economy means I am unemployed, and so I need a way to pass the time waiting for those job offers and large bags of money that I am sure will arrive any day now.  Other things I do while waiting are writing (mostly fiction and essays), reading, and cooking.

I am currently training up a 1hander to level 31 (first gen), and I have a rather loose playstyle.  I generally enjoy sieges, where I can get in close, but try my best to play as a team despite the adhoc nature of NA servers.  I can be rather loud at times on the chat, as I am a rather talkative guy, but I do my best to be a positive influence.

I will hopefully see you all on TS tonight.

Great thread.  I do have one more question.

What is the difference in playstyle on a 1h if you go strength focus vs agility focus?  Is it vastly different in how many 1-hit kills you get vs your defensive mobility?

Thanks for this guys!  A really pleasant surprise to see three pages today.  Nice to have people offer advice in the newbie section rather than insult me for not searching and just living with whatever unhelpful information already existed.

Once I retire my 2H I will probably try one of these builds.

I trawled the build thread but no comments on the effectiveness of the 1h builds I found.

Anyone willing to throw out a decent cookie-cutter build so I can try an alternative to 2h?
