When I got the beta I went from skeptical but still enthusiastic to disappointed and hopeless so quickly. Then only once revisited in Februar and saw no improvement at all, on the contrary. so sad

I use it 99% to just check on friends once a month and be reminded to send them wishes on their birthdays
I mostly use is to check for events, concerts, flohmarkt, whatever. Many bars/locations have no homepage, only fb page and only post their upcoming events on fb.

« on: December 20, 2019, 11:45:27 am »I for one don't understand that. The anime has incredible pacing, the story and characters advance every single episode, feels like it has no downtime at all. Perhaps the theme is a bit too mature for them and they just want to watch heroes with the power of anime and god on their side. And it makes me sad that we don't have actual sci-fi series like this at all, so we need to rely on japs to animate us some good sci fi shit.
I've been asking myself why this is the case for years.
LotGH sounds like the perfect thing to watch when we're finished with the yamato soon, thx for tip.

mh, poll sounds good in theory, but who is gonna see that in the first place? Imo the important thing would be if we agree on a date we keep going for a while (monthly is too rarely imo). So even if we're only 10 the first time keep at it and it the word may spread, wohoo.
Or alternatively we try to advertise as big event and get as many people as possible for one event and take it from there. We'd need people with lots of connections to old players, though (me not lol). Could be disappointing, but so what ;)
