Looking to trade as per title!

If you have the chance to loom and were going to put it on a bec de corbin, i'd appreciate it if you would spend it on a Knightly Arming Sword and take my 1k gold on top.

Sarranid Cavalry sword is looking pretty hot in terms of reach, damage and weight

Necroposting to save myself creating a new topic on the exact same subject:

Does your weapon count towards this 10k limit?
Where is the source on the 10k limit?

Does this limit apply to everyone, e.g. will melee's lose wpf in 1 handed for example if they wear heavy armour, or just archers? (or crossbowmen?)

How much does going over the limit decrease your wpf, is there a formula?

Edit:
Hypothetically, as an archer, the following gear would be great as it provides ok armour whilst still hitting exactly 10kg (does 10kg itself mean =0 wpf reduction, or is that when it starts, e.g. 10k=-1wpf?)
: Heavy Aketon = 6.6 + Kettle Hat with Padded Coif =(1.3x2) + Leather Boots = 0.8 for an exact total of 10

Edit, Edit: Do arrows count?

Toffee, what kind of polearm do you feel like playing? Stab-focused, overhead-focused, two-handed style? From what I saw of you trying to pike, I will assume for this post that you wanted to focus on stabbing and supporting a team.
Examples
Stab: Pike, Longspear, Battle Fork, Ashwood
Overhead: Long Voulge, Swiss Halberd, English Bill
Two-handed: Bec de Corbin, Long Bardiche, Long Axe

Thanks for all the replies.
I originally planned to be stab focussed, getting cheeky pokes in to help people out and to deal with cav.
Once I found the pike to be too glitchy I didn't have a backup.

I'm going to avoid overheads after trying out the lumpy metal club thing and the bill as they seem to slide through opponents without doing any damage unless its dead on centre (also people seem to poke you mid swing).
I have a high str build as it was my intention to poke support instead of having to parry about all day.

I'm liking the long awlpike at the moment but it doesn't seem to be on any of your lists.
I may try the long spear though as I have found with a little bit more range I would connect more hits.

Edit: Thanks for the pike link, was a good read and looking forward to giving it a go again

Is it viable to do the 27/12 polearm build this way:

Level 30 (4 420 577 xp)

    Strength: 30
    Agility: 12
    Hit points: 62

    Skills to attributes: 11

    Ironflesh: 0
    Power Strike: 10
    Shield: 0
    Athletics: 4
    Riding: 0
    Horse Archery: 0
    Power Draw: 0
    Power Throw: 0
    Weapon Master: 4

---

you lose 1 shield (useless) and 7hp from Ironflesh ( 3 gained from additional str). For an additional point in PS.
I think extra damage at the expense of 7hp is acceptable.

Thoughts?

What polearm do you reccomend using?

I always planned on using the pike but after about 5 games I realized it's worthlessly glitchy - it would seem the hitbox is halfway down the pole.

I bought the English Bill thinking it was a great choice for a polearm.
I have just seen the corseque. It is cheaper, lighter and has better pierce values.
Can anyone tell me why the Bill is better? Thanks:

English Bill
weapon length: 174
weight: 4
difficulty: 17
speed rating: 89
weapon length: 174
thrust damage: 28 pierce
swing damage: 31 pierce
slots: 2
Can't use on horseback
Can't sheath
Cost: 9886

Corseque
weapon length: 186
weight: 2.5
difficulty: 12
speed rating: 88
weapon length: 186
thrust damage: 31 pierce
swing damage: 21 pierce
slots: 2
Can't use on horseback
Can't sheath

Additionally, what is the best polearm to heirloom? I am going for a 27/12 build using Pikes/ Anti cav and pokey things.

Problem resolved, the heirloom button was covering it. Might need to be fixed in future.

My Longbow wont repair past "bent", I have 3000 coins at the moment, and at the end of the turn it says its been repaired, often for a very small sum, yet it always remains bent.

How fix!?

I have tried with auto repair on and off, but I cant find a manual fix button.
