Although both of those reworked flags are nice, especially the second one.  I prefer the old.  One reason is because I can identify team mates halfway across the map.  Nobody else has a flag that even remotely looks like it.  Also some of the darker flags blend in to the surroundings on some maps and during bad weather.

P.S. just my opinion - the banner looks good, but i'd change the font to something more ermmmmm... tribal / mongolish looking .

P.P.S. another small suggestion - mongolians used war masks, maybe you could also add the vaegir war mask to the helmets list ? Will look good imo =). And the lamellar armour (the original one) also would fit your clan's style, imho.

I hope you fellas do not wear them.
