I didn't say it was okay that I teamwounded. I didn't say he broke any rules. I personally believe the point of reporting is to get rid of asshats like me that actually teamwound, not helping teammates with a nudge at spawn. 12 hours for first offense w/o warnings for anything related?

I was banned because I nudged a teammate at spawn and he reported me, and I slashed him twice for abusing the report function.
I know teamwounding is against the rules, that's great.
I'm not complaining about the ban, only the length.
First offense for anything, only warning is on delaying (Ever?).
I thought not much of it at first, seeing the message you were kicked. That's reasonable, I broke a rule and get punished, that's great. But then I try to rejoin, find out its a ban. Little upset, but whatever, atleast its only an hour at most. An hour and a half later, it's still in place. Meaning it's at bare minimum a day.
Why, and how long?

You took more time to make this thread and complain than time your teammate wasted by not attacking.
You're right. I could've killed myself by jumping down and saved everyone 3 minutes, and ruined the x5 of my entire team.

Why is this even an issue worth a ban or punishment?
First off, it was 3 minutes. Three. This wasn't an every game thing, this wasn't a recurring issue, this was a one time thing.
Second, it was both parties at fault. I'm an archer, I've got 51 proficiency in 1 handed, why in the fuck would I fight a dedicated melee build?
Third, charging me is certain death as he has to make parkour without a shield while being shot at. If he didn't charge, he just wastes 3 minutes and lets me win. There's no good outcome for that situation for him. Either of us could've initiated and risked a loss, but I'm not throwing my advantage. A thrower or an agi archer isn't punished for kiting, this is no different. I held him at a point where he couldn't attack, while capturing flag.
This is a joke Dynamics, its a game, go watch porn or something and stop getting so upset. It was 3 minutes.

I had the win secured, why would I risk dying and losing because of that? It was his initiative to fight, not mine. I had no reason to jump down there, that would be the only risk of dying. I was playing the objective, and had the advantage.
This is no different from a T planting bomb on A site and camping pit with an AWP on Dust 2. They have the advantage and the win, why would they go try quickscoping the last guy?

Or, use common sense and not sit there and let me dump 30 arrows into your shield without moving? You easily could've jumped on the roof in that amount of time, with your shield. You're upset you were outplayed and lost. Get over it and grow up.
