Personally im with Gravoth on this. I dont think Blizzard fucked up that much. When a series or a company moves to mobile it generally means they moved away from the Western neckbeard audiences to asians on mobile. Consider yourselves dropped as the target audience bois. The only part Blizzard did fuck up was live announcing to a Western PC audience. That went about as expected. They should have done it in China or something and block entrance to roundeyes who did manage to get a planeticket.

They probably got tired of listening to the Diablo fanbase's years of whining, so rather then trying to please it, they decided to kill it entirely. Quick and clean murder. The series has been surrounded by uncertainty for years now. Pretty decent finale, id say.

Rockstar and CDPR are the last of the AAA devs that care about the quality of their games. All of Rockstar's 10 studios are working on RDR2, and Rockstar North alone has ~400 employees. They've got so many talented devs, and they put a lot of time and effort into their games, which is great. If Rockstar was like Ubisoft or Activision or EA, we'd be on GTA 23 and RDR 17 by now.

Im sorta suprised these companies, especially Rockstar are doing so okay. AAA level gamemaking(with CARE) is probably the least profitable, unstable, most stressful thing I can think of. Like for example Witcher 3(which is kinda gamings blockbuster hit), which had an insane amount of sales had a budget of 81mil, serius amount of directing etc, years of development and only got a measly 63 mil as profit(took these from wikipedia). Hit movies with that budget get about x3 that profit(also taken from wikipedia). Clash of clans gets like more then x10 those profits each year. I dont think EA and Ubisoft want to be shitty, they just dont have the option, the profits are horseshit without lootboxes and dlcs. Im kinda suprised why EA for example is still even in the AAA business, if its so shit. If I was them I would have moved to mobile more aggressively years ago. I quess they still are making that push however(the new C&C)....

Like this flamewar with Konami and Hideo. Hideo is a fucking great, makes great stuff and a true visionary. Each game is a hit and a masterpiece, unfortunately also expensive af to make and the profits, while great, arent enough to fill the "when shit hits the fan" emergency fund. No shit they kicked Hideo out and will now make more mobile games and casino slot machines. Its completely risk free. Each time Hideo got the money, there was risk that this time his magic wont work and the entire company goes immediately under along side whatever the hell he is working on.

This kinda reminded me of Dave Chappelle who came back from like a decade long break. Some dude was analyzing him getting targeted by SJWs. Also, god damn BR bandwagon, this is embarrassing. This looks like PUBG for kids, more so than Fortnite even.

I dunno. I just put some AJ vid cause, while obnoxious, AJ isnt really that much of a sellout on gamecontent.

And exactly my opinion at first. However most people who play PUBG seemed to like it. The current ruler of the BR bandwagon is a unlikable mess thats been successful because sofar the only other studios making moves in it have been also similar shitbucket indie studios. If u think about it the BR scene is rather barren, if the best they got is Pubg.

A lot of people were quite hostile when CoD: Blackout was announced. So was I. Firstly because of the overbeaten dead horse of a gamemode, second because CoD. After the beta, the wierd part is that most of the feedback was very positive. This is after all I think is the first time that an actual AAA studio takes the swing at the gamemode fully.

I watched some Steven Chowder thing on Youtube. And there was a professor of logic in some college campus. That legimately faked tweets and lied immensely to back his fucked up boycott. And nothing happened to him.

The current generation of professors and teachers in US/Western-Europe seem rather heavy on the left in the political spectrum and I think legitimate decade long brainwashing has taken place. Its amazing how far these students(and exstudents) are from any kind of logic and rational thinking. These brainwashed folk are slowly becoming renowned and old enough to get into politics. And slowly they are advancing from twitter and forum warriors into actual politicians. Nothing to do about it now. Its just too late. Its going to get much much worse.
