To be honest i3 4130 is not a bad little dual core. Its advantage is having hyper threading which makes the pc see it as a quad core. Also not many games will utilize more than 4 cores and I am sure OkAM will be no different. Thing that has me is 16gb ram lol, even the most demanding games i.e Crysis, Far cry, Gta 5 dont require 16gb ram, 8 at the most. That is good that you can play it with decent fps.

you should try the game by downloading it. i think the only reason it demands such powerful ram is that there will be hundreds of players in the field, nonetheless i think its still to much, 8 should be more than enough. whats your spec?

Did you try the game? Everyone can try it for free right now, play against bots (you can spawn any number of them) and see for themselves, if it runs well.

no i havent tried it, i didnt even know it was possible. i will certainly download and try it.

edit: well i tried it, i can play it with 45-55 fps with proper graphic settings (no msaa, ambient occlusion disabled, resolution scale %100, texture quality ultra) and without 150 bots its around 55-60 fps. its quite playable i must say. no lags nothing. better than expected. beautiful graphics too.

Yeah, they totally better downgrade the entire game so your potato GPU can run it at 40-50 FPS, because fuck everyone else and fuck having games with modern technology that look awesome.

OR you can upgrade your PC to keep up with gaming like everyone else has to . You can always buy it on Steam once it releases, set graphics to low, then try it out, if it doesn't run well then you can refund it within 2 hours. What CPU do you have?

tbh, gtx750 ti is not a potato, and the version i have is better than other gtx 750 ti models( asus 750ti 2 gb overclocked), i3 4130 cpu and 8 gb ram. i can play lots of modern games with proper fps, even gta 5 with 35-50 fps. judging by the graphics okam has, i do not think one would need monster gpu to play it properly, however looking at the gameplay videos the game demands very powerful rigs than it should need. look at this one, dude got gtx 1070 and cant even play with 60 fps.. around 1.13 it even goes down to 35 fps. i know the game is still in developing process, and im merely asking a better optimization for not everyone got monster pc. and people who got low-medium class gaming pcs like mine are the majority.

depends. i got gtx750 ti, if i can play it with 40-50 fps, then yea i would buy it. however there is no way i can play it with said fps judging by the current powerful sytem requirements. they better do something about that.

General Discussion / Re: EU ping
« on: July 23, 2016, 11:59:36 pm »
I noticed after the reboot of the EU server my current ping is off the cart, even with my na location my prior ping was 98 not 200 plus. Any reason ? New location? Acres fault? Trumps plan to crush EU?
it somehow only effects na players. you, salad fork, poophammer etc. weird. mine and other eu players' pings are still the same.

Ever since the server came back on I get 200 ping now :/

No more NA, 200 ping on EU when it used to be 110, how am I supposed to play? :(

it seems it only effects na players. salad fork used to have 100 ping, now he got 175 too. eu players dont have this problem. mine is still the same also.

But Erdogan is the complete opposite of what Ataturk would have wanted. If the coup would have succeeded there would have been a slight chance of improvement. Slight, but possible. With Erdogan there is no hope. Ataturk knew what needed to be done to create a modern society at that time. You on the other hand have a guy as dictator, who cries how Twitter and Facebook are cyberbulling him and is about as easly triggered as a tumblr feminist. Id say you are most definately fucked by friend.

im not happy about illegal military coups including this one too,  and im not happy with the akp either. so i wouldnt be happy either way.  i dont assume i would live long with so much unhappiness and stress in my life. erdogan or coup is the least of my problems really. its just some extra water in my pool of unhappiness.

This is literally one of the mains roles he gave to the the army. Why do you think he would be against the army overthrowing insane religious dictators, when that's exactly how he got to power and built modern Turkey in the first place? You think he'd side with "democratically elected" Sultan Erdogan instead? How many more times will he extend his mandate? How many more purges of political enemies, how many more restrictions to media and freedom of speech, how much more blatant dictator bullshit before you accept he is a power-hungry demagogue? Democracy is like a train ride, once I get to my stop, I’m getting off. He's getting off very soon, and already has for everyone who's not a brainwashed cunt.

i hear you but this is not just about erdogan. the coups were happening way before erdogan. we didnt have insane religious dictators. erdogan is the only guy in the history of modern turkey that can be described as a tyrant. if we had no coups in the history of turkey, and if it was the first time a coup was happening, i might have supported it. but knowing the bad habit of the army, i would rather stay neutral.
