cRPG Technical problems / Cannot connect to server

So I have not played C-RPG in a while, have updated everything (more than once), and when I try to connect to a C-RPG server it gives me the message immediately with now wait: "cannot connect to server" like im auto-blocked or something.

ok:

pro:
- high armor when shield is hit
- archers might die from laughter

contra:
- slower(no sprint, extra weight, backwards is slower by default)
- harder to dodge(inverted+"look around key" needed)
- archers can aim for lower body or head (no forcefield)
- looks retarded

Shields on the back don't look retarded.. and there is sprint in this game!?

Is there like a set limit of people for Strategus battle? If you need only qaulity people, then nevermind.. if you need qauntity.. then id love to help out (I'm a newb). The idea of helping peasents regain their home is awesome.

There's not much reason to retire anymore; just level up or skip the fun, join a big clan, and use looms from the clan armory.

Really care to expand on this? You suggesting new players live off the looms of other clan memembers who been retiring for years or are looms acquired in clans via other methods? (I also realize that too many looms on equipment = impossible upkeep.. is that part of it?)

Well nudging is done by pressing V while holding block, attack, or without either. It basically allows you to gain some separation or interrupt your enemies attack (and grief your teammates). Seeing as it's fairly new and the older guides don't get many updates it's not surprising that they don't mention nudges.

It's a well written guide by a veteran player. Here's a small part of it regarding what I think you were referring to. It's called feinting

It's not too difficult to get a basic grasp of the melee combat in this game, it just takes a lot of time and patience.

good players can see through when 'over feinting'? lol over-feinting is the only problem I have.. it looks like the person is doing a magic voodo dance that no matter how much I try to do 'the proper inputs of slice canceling' my character can't dance half that speed. But I appreciate the guide nevertheless. Answers my question if their was something special other than doing it magically fast at least.

Normal, but when playing offline there is no latency.

Thanks.. was just wondering what game speed i should practice at to simulate it the most.

Now I just need to figure my way around the magic voodo greatsword polearms that seem to animation cancel in ways that I never even considered possibly and cant even do in a non-combat situation.

I'm a beginner.. and have no clue what a nudge is and or how to use it.. some kind fo c-rpg feature? all thew 'newbie threads' have loads of information that don't even cover basic assumptions. Not meaning to complain, just actually curious here.

And not so much on topic... is it just me or is there some kind of 'secret' to 'deking' with animation cancels? I see players looking like the defy game physics for how fast they can rapidly change their slice direction.. where when I try to do it with no opponent at all the animations simply dont seem to allow me to do it as fast even with a faster weapon. That's more of a mount and blade MP thing in general though which im all new to as well.

Play normal Warband(Native) and start the tutorial. Spar with the bots there and focus on manual blocking. Start with the slowest combat speed in the options and increase it as you progress in skill and reflexes. Block while standing still first, then try it while running around. When you can defend against everything on fastest while moving around without breaking a sweat you can block in crpg too. Then play on the duel server and ask someone to train with you.

What game spead does C-RPG play on?
