I installed it to that location after downloading the new version of warband from scratch.   I went to that link you told me to get the whole mod.. its no longer there it says.  Is there another place to download it from?

I try to open the c-rpg game using the shortcut.
It asks if I want to update to 4.5.5.0.  I click yes and the following happens:

The remote server returned an error 404 not found.

System.Net.WebException
at System.Net.HTTPWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult....
I will send you an attachment if you need a print screen.

This all started happening when I deleted mount and blade warband from the old location I had it in under steam apps.  I added warband to a new location under program files.. so I think it has to do with the change of folder location, but i'm not sure.  Is there a way to uninstall c-rpg and reinstall it using the new location I put warband in?  I can't figure that part out because I can't find a c-rpg uninstall file nor does it come up in my add/remove programs in windows.

after a loss in a battle, it spawned me outside of the map.  I do not see my icon.  I clicked on a castle to travel towards it and i have been traveling for like 3 days now outside of the map.   still don't see my icon.  is that normal?

Yeah, okay.  so if i don't show up, the battle will still go on without me, even though I am the one who initiated it?  Also, is there is no way to change the time of the battle?

if the player who initiates combat can't make it for the auto 24 hour schedule, what happens?  Also, I saw something in the FAQ page about AI hiring.  Does that mean there will be AI players (bots) if i don't have enough people for a battle, or if i can't make it?

cRPG Technical problems / Higher than normal ping..

I am experiencing a steady, higher than normal ping.  It stays somewhere around 97 to 105.  Normally i am at 78 to 85 steadily.  I've been trying to troubleshoot, but others are saying they are also experiencing the same steady higher ping.  I go on the NA... type servers.  all the same issue.  Are the servers acting up?  or is it my isp?

Mundy - I have been somewhat dealing with the same problem.  I played dtv all the time in order to get to 30s (and still do), hoping it will make a difference once i got there, but I still get whomped in battle or siege.  I am not horrible at blocking but not great either, which as you know is definitely key to survival, and i can use improvement.  What the majority of ppl here are saying about practice practice practice and duel duel duel is true.. and i can say i am improving very slowly given the free time i have available.  I know some might think this is wrong, but i've practiced using the wooden sword and medium armor, with a friend (both of us new to c-rpg)and within about 45 minutes to an hour he and i were both able to block basic attacks about 95% of the time and block some feinting against each other.  I believe this was the most efficient 45 minutes to an hour of c-rpg gameplay i have experienced.  Correct me if i am wrong but i figured obviously because there is less down time, and more non-stop practice because you live longer and spar longer before being interupted by dying and the routine of finding each other again after spawning.  I was then able to duel against other players who were better than me, and survive about 3x longer than i used to before dying and able to block about 80% of their tricky attacks, feints and footwork.

Anyhow, i've tried offering training duels with the pro players using wooden weapons, but nobody is ever up for it.. they just want to win by killing you in two hits with their warcleavers or long axes, which will not help you improve much.  So if you are looking to get with someone and practice, let me know because i can use it too.   I see you online from time to time in dtv, so next time we cross paths i'll hit you up if you want to practice.

ohhh no.. i didn't get the memo.  All i saw was that people couldn't connect, i had no idea that the server was hacked.  Not to jinx things, but if this is true, its probably going to end up bad when the servers are back up and running.  Hopefully they backed up our character data on a different source.  But even so, our accounts would have most likely been compromised, so it still might be a loss for us, unless they can somehow link our character info to new account.  I do recall this happening with sony a few years back and we lost stuff on the ps3 and had to start over with new accounts, so it might be same deal here. 

Well, i'm disappointed, but i sucked at this game, so if there is a loss i wouldn't have lost too much.. i had no heirlooms. nobody over level 25.lol.  But i do feel bad for the more dedicated players.. its gotta be very frustrating for them, and i'm sure they are very anxious.

cRPG Technical problems / Retrieving information from Servers... 579? Servers don't appear

Every time i try to play the screen where the servers are supposed to load up just hangs there saying "Retrieiving Information from Servers 579"  and never loads up any of them on the screen.  Is this related to the server problem on the previous topic?  Yesterday, i kept getting the unable to connect message, now it never loads anything and never prompts anything.  When i choose one fo the servers on my favorites, it starts to load, then says "Incorrect Authorization Key".  This is probably the wrong message to prompt me with since i purchased my game and was given the key 2 years ago.  Anyhow, if this is what i am supposed to see if the servers are still down, i guess i'll just be patient and wait until they are fixed.  but if this is something different, then what should i do?
