Really? how can you be unaware for 3 mins while the flag is up? He was breaking one of the server rules which is cited in the rules of this forum. He was riding around as an HA with no arrows collecting them 1 at a time to then shoot. Can I ask how my ban poll was illegal and that over 50% of the server all voted for it? First of all You cannot ban someone without their side of the story and second of all he is in your clan so you only listen to him.

You are one seriously bad admin.

Your reason still isn't justified for a ban poll. Kick someone if they're delaying. He was aware of the flags being up, but he was unaware of the flags being bugged. People reallly don't care if it was a ban or kick poll, they just press 1. If there's something that I'm not, that's biased.

A guy present on the server said you were ragepolling Lionheart for him not being aware of the flag was up. While you were trying to cap it, it got bugged and because Lionheart was unaware of the flags being up, you resorted to banpolling him to make the round end faster. It was only when he got banpolled, that he was aware of the flag. This is not a justified ban, so you get a 1h ban for poll abusing, equal to the ban of his. It should actually be 2h, as the offender should get more punished than the one being punished.

If you feel like you want to share your side of the story, I'll let the thread be open.

Remove like 90% of the maps, dont need so many if they are terrible. I'd be fine with like 5 or 10 maps in a cycle. At the moment there are a lot of maps that are instant quits.

Rule of thumb is no bottle neck maps, no plain open maps, no fork road circle maps. If youve played a map and noticed a lot of circling around, or team just getting scattered and losing eachother then its not a good map.

90% of the maps? 60% were from the previous rotation, and 40% from the 2010-2012 map rotation. It's actually really boring to play battle with no variety of maps. I agree with the "quality over quantity" statement, but in this case what we needed is some variety and that's the reason why I chose to use my freetime to make this map rotation.

The main issue right now with the maps is that there's too much ranged around and people that choose their own ego over teamplay to flank alone, causing their team to lose.

iirc, cRPG is already on Steam in the Mount & Blade: Warband Community Hub, but it's an outdated version of the launcher.

I'm surprised to see this many people with issues. Haven't really experienced any issues with the game so far, with not that strong of a PC again. The only issue I have been facing is that the game stutters for 1-5 seconds (which occurs rarely), so it's not that it really bothers me that much.

Also, the blocking system doesn't seem to work perfectly all the time. I don't always get the chance to block a hit, as the green thing in the middle doesn't appear 30% of the time. I don't know if it's supposed to be like this or if it's just that the block system needs to be polished a bit. Either way, I may just have to get used to it, I like games that are challenging and that take time to master just like cRPG did.

9/10, would give it a 10/10 if the block system felt more fluent than it does currently.

Are you people unable to see patterns and cause and effect? Have you already forgotten why most people left CRPG in the first place?
We used to have hundreds of players every night, so many the servers couldnt handle it.
That was the only real problem back in the days, and no one wanted to adress it.
They just wanted to mess around and tinker to see how shit worked.
Everytime someone new joined the team, they broke something else.

I endured devs tinkering with siege until no one plays the gamemode anymore.
Conquest mode and shitty maps really killed the community.
We all stopped playing because of nerfs and changes and patches and maps.
90% of the people i knew back then left for more or less the same reasons im trying to communicate.

I heard chadz failed with his new game for exacly the same reasons i am complaining about.

And yes i should have written a nicer post, but when i for once have a weekend free to play.
Guess what? Some new guy is fucking uo stuff again.....

Would you still be playing the mod if it didn't get updated? I, for one, wouldn't. Are you really that delusional that you think people will come back and play if no new changes are being made? Professor's continuation on the mod is exactly why people got attracted to come back and play. He's doing a great job to revive the mod which became a success. We're getting weekly updates (mostly), and he's a one-man team doing all the code by himself. You should thank him, he's the reason the mod is alive now. (Also, credits to chadz for fixing the patcher to make this possible) Appreciate the time you can get to play cRPG until Bannerlord comes out (assuming it ever comes out).

Edit: I actually care more about it having players, not that it gets frequent updates. But bugfixes were needed to revive the mod, which it did.

And sorry for Athelar missunderstanding me but I'm a direct person and it is pretty obvious that he failed. Not saying that he didn't try hard (or that he should stop! Everything can be fixed...). But at the point I made my post the map rotation was totally screwed up. All these maps that have been thrown out ages ago for good reasons were brought back. Im not at all saying that the map rotation is the reason for the amount of ranged. They were there before. On most maps right now they are simply stronger than they were before.

I think I understand perfectly fine what you mean.  :lol: You started implying that it was my fault ranged were like it is now, then when you got confronted by people saying it wasn't my fault but the players and the volume of them, you suddenly changed your mind. Now you're back to saying it's my fault.  :rolleyes: The map rotation hasn't changed since you made your thread, so I don't know what you're trying to say. Professor still needs to be done with his exams before I can do weekly updates on the map rotation. The map rotation still got an issue that creates random plains (mostly fixed though). This is because the names in the admin panel doesn't always correspond to the scn name. It's seeing those maps and replacing them with random plains when it doesn't recognize them.

You did the exact oposite of what you were supposed to do. Bring closer maps so people can get cover. What happened? 50% of the maps are open field now. GJ. Not saying I don't appreciate the try, but dood u "100% failed." "I understand everyone playing EU7 right now even though I never did."

I found it to be a little insulting, especially when you claim that it's all my fault there's ranged everywhere.


I tried finding the old thread (I think uthyrs) but i didnt. He made a reply for every map. People could down or upvote the map. It was pretty organised and simple that way. Maybe u should try the same.

Yeah, if you want to go through several pages to look for one specific map in a list of 100+ maps. About 30 more than before. I could make it more organised by making it in alphabetical order. I'll think about how I'll do it.
