Not sure if that's been asked before (pardon my lazy self if it was), but there's a number of items in the viewer that aren't in the game. I'm specifically referring to the stunningly awesome (Highlander) and (Pino) models. Are those to be implemented later or were they just lying around in the file packs?

Silly me, hitting 6 instead of 2. >.< Was quite interesting, I never took part in a tournament before. The organisation was also good, I think, since you did what you could to keep it more or less structured. All in all, I had fun, especially when you kicked me, Beau. xD
For the next tournament I'd very much like to see:
1) a mounted part. Could be either jousting or a mass-melee on horses.
2) a final melee in the end (not FFA-killing all around), where all teams go down to the fighting area and then slaughter each other until only one man stands. Maybe this one survivor could get a special prize or something.

I've got smacked on the head by this huge snowball that has had "INSPIRATION" written on it, so I sat down and put together a little song for all the Guards past, present and future. Which I now have the honor of gifting to my stalwart comrades-in-arms.

« on: February 06, 2011, 05:28:44 pm »what do you think about adjusting what throwing weapons you can take? you could trade 2 ranged weapons for 1. for example:
- shogunate could trade 1 additional xbow and sacrifice bow&throwing stack
- nordmen could get 1 more throwing stack instead of xbow&bow
- goldengoose could get 2 bows instead of xbow+ranged stack
etc...
so the ranged combat would more resemble the actual prefered playstyle fo the clans.
I think it's a good idea, will broaden the list of potential participants, as well as add some variety to the fights.

It's not precisely meat, but rather a traditional Russian recipe that includes chopped herring mixed with mayonese and beetroot. Sounds awful, but tastes great.

Well, I live in a fairy land far away from civilized places, so it's 160+ on EU and 250+ on NA for me. That said, I do pretty fine as a 1h/polearm medium cavalry - nothing fancy or, God forbid, anywhere near the top of the scoreboard, but it's bearable. Just have to begin stabbing a bit earlier.
Also have a 2h alt. Well... I can't usually beat a good 2h with lower ping. Archery/Xbow-ery (-manship?) would be fine if I didn't suck at aiming.
As somebody else has noted, shielders and cavalry are the best bet for those with high pings.
...Then again, I just remembered a person called TooSexy from the old days, who had like 300+ and just waved his bardiche around, usually ending up pretty high on the board.
