cRPG Technical problems / No Main Character, Alternate needs to be made to Main pelase.

I had a cRPG character about a year ago. I decided to try the game again, but did not delete my old main. I deleted my Main, and my new (Main) Alternate character cannot make the transition from Alternate to Main. Please help or just make the quick fix. thank you
