What is the lance ppl like these days? I'll have low wpf (like 50) because I'll be mainly 1h -- but i want to be able to couch/jab some folks in my spare time.
Heavy lance? Light? Some arabian one?
OR
Light lance / battle fork / ashwood pike and heavy horse to tank and chain high damage spear hits.
If you feel up to it you could also try ashwood pike + arabian warhorse AKA the Oberyn Special.

I'd like a proper free for all with 'heats' of a few players each advancing along a bracket, rather than just everyone fighting at the same time. Or, if everyone's fighting at once make it something fun like hide and seek or a maze map or something instead of arena. Cavalry tournaments would also be really fun, or counterstrike ranged tournaments. Just events in general, straight up tournaments are nice but they're a little dry. Organize a fight club boxing event, cRPG's top weaboo tourny, anything.

Around the time I started playing, I think Granpappy had just muted someone or something. Cyranule posted in gamechat that he'd give 50k for someone to teamkill Granpappy. I did it like 3 times in a row - warning, kick, ban. It was totally worth it to noob me, making 150k. Now I'm the one offering money for badmin teamkills, in memory of that.
