It's the best way, because if you rage back at them, they got what they wanted, which is irritate you. Better to mute THAT player also, its very quick and easy: When ingame, press escape and the option is there to mute any player you feel like. It's best to not even tell them you are muting them, and let them type stupid shit for 5 mins trying to make you respond, while you relax and play some crpgSure thing,and i just pass a clan test
lol his friends? Xynox is a cunt, but you CAN NOT voteban someone for calling you a noob. Its against the rules. If he is spamming silly shit or being offensive, take a screenshot, post it here, wait a few hours, and he will be gone, of go on mIRC and request an admin to come to the server. Vote bans are for players causing a repeated disruption to the game for everyone, by doing something they cannot help but be affected by, and have returned to do it again after a votekick. Someone teamkilling and rejoining after their report-kick, a defender on siege repeatedly opening the gates, a high strengh player 1hit teamkilling to avoid reports, players who stab and slash at teammates who they believe are afk, someone spouting repeated discriminatory shit. Dont worry about being called a noob, many of us have been playing this over 2 years and are called noob all the time, it's the stock namecalling in most online competetive games.

Anyways, for everyone who wasn't there = started multiple ban requests against someone because he was russian and other racist stuff.
1. Unless you have some weird controller, you are ALSO fighting from behind your keyboard.
2. Polling someone for calling you a noob is not allowed. If he had called you a Red Sea Pedestrian or something, that would be understandable.
But that event occured on server 2, not 5... SEEMS YOU ARE CONFUSED SAH!
If you dont want to know what he thinks, why do you read it?
Xynox always calls noobs noobs. But that doesnt allow others to teamhit him and try to ragepoll him. Cooties made the right choice, because the chat can be disabled easily if you dont like being trolled, and this is a community of players who troll each other a lot, but whilst the chat CAN be disabled, so you are reading him trolling you BY CHOICE, he had no choice when you teamhit him. Put it in perspective, realise you were wrong, take your ban with a wry grin and how Xynox played you and trapped you should teach you that it's not what you did, or didn't do, it's what is witnessed and evidenced. Also good is what my mom told me over 25 years ago: Sticks and stones will break your bones, but WORDS CAN NEVER HURT YOU.
