General Discussion / Re: Voice Commands Poll

I think the new voice commands are hilarious, but I understand that they are annoying to some people. The optimum solution would be to allow the user to choose what they want - which I believe they can.

Scene Editing / Re: Dekkers's maps - Upcoming

You turn out amazing scenes, Dekkers. The terrain in the Skyrim map is spectacular and simply fun to look at. I've watched the video about five times now - it is very inspirational!

The names are one of my favorite things cRPG. So much that I've screen capped funny names, maybe will get around to posting them later. Some of the best:

ProPain_Tank
Dixon_Buttes
Flying_Dildos (dildoes? idk, but it is an archer and it's funny to think they are shooting plastic dongs).
SP1N vs N1PS

Thanks for mentioning this. It seems they renamed the property from antialiasing to just antialias. It should work now if you hit CTRL+F5. Note that it's also browser and driver dependent, but for most people, it should work (works for me in FF and Chrome).

Looks marvelous! And for the web traffic issue I am guessing that you have the brf's in some directory that users then download.

But the models are already on their own computer if they have M&B/CRPG installed... Perhaps they could be loaded from their own machine by providing the filepath(s)? I don't think browsers would allow that - I haven't done a lot of work in this area.

You even have the specular lighting down beautifully

Is there any anti aliasing on that? 2x SSAA would really improve the experience and shouldn't be too much work for even the worst GPU (or integrated gfx for laptop users, quite a few of those in this community).

General Discussion / Re: What are your current goals?
« on: October 28, 2013, 04:23:27 pm »
I want to be the very best, like no one ever was.

Making a character for each class is my test, to grind them is my cause.

I will travel across Calradia, grinding day and night.

Each build I need to understand, to play the class right.

CRPG, it's you and me. I get experience multiplicatively.

CRPG, I've lost irl friends - when I play for nights on end.

CRPG, convert skills to attributes, valour will pull me through.

You teach me and I'll teach you, throwing cav.

Gotta play them all, Gotta play them all, Pokemon CRPG.

Beginner's Help and Guides / Re: Riding Vrs IF for strat
« on: October 27, 2013, 09:23:05 pm »
I would have to go with riding for the versatility. Ironflesh is great to have, and there are a lot of good players who don't put points into it. Riding is invaluable in field battles and can be used to some extent in sieges:

- Run mats to a new weapons rack very quickly
- In towns there will be some areas where cavalry can operate. Same goes for villages.
- If you are defending you can sally out and attack catapults or forward bases

Also you plan to level up past 31 you can put points into ironflesh later and get experience fighting from horseback now.

cRPG Technical problems / Re: Weird hit detection
« on: October 27, 2013, 08:50:47 pm »
There was a player who swung an axe through my torso on NA1 and the hit didn't register. I have also found that rubberbanding is happening more frequently too.

edit: went double down syndrome in that first sentence

This isn't a bug. It is part of the game's graphics pipeline and is called backface culling.
