Its been a while since i played cRPG. Wanted to start playing again after getting a new PC but i cant seem to get it to work. When i use the launcher i starts to update but it fails every time.

This is what i get:
[12:32:51] Downloading version info
[12:32:51] Updating (v2.9.3.1)
[12:32:51] Downloading mirror list
[12:32:51] Downloading file list
[12:32:51] Using mirror download3.c-rpg.net
[12:32:51] Downloading mirror version info
[12:32:51] The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

Can anyone suggest a solution? Im using the steam version of WB

But i dont understand the info it says about the PCI 2.0

"1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot - PCI_E7 supports up to PCIe 2.0 x4 speed"

What does the PCI_E7 mean.
Also, will my current GPU be able to run at full speed or does it mean its going to work only on 1/4 of its full potential? o.O

Well, the difference in price between the 3570(without K) and the 2500K is only a few euros.

Edit: I have a HD 6670 1GB GPU, which is a PCI-e 16x 2.0

Hello
Im about to buy an intel ivy bridge CPU, i5 3570 3,4GHz and im a bit confused about the MB i should choose.
My budget is limited so something in the 150-200euros is all the money i can spend on it.
All i know that it should have a Z77 chip that supports the ivy bridge cpus.
I intend to use the new CPU and MB mainly for gaming.

Candidates so far:

ASROCK Z77 Extreme4
ASROCK Z77 Extreme6
Asus P8Z77 M-Pro
MSI Z77A-GD55

If anyone is using the IB cpu, id like to hear what MB you have and if you are happy with the setup.

Things id like to see in it:

Zombie animals (dogs, wildlife = faster than player, but cannot climb ladders ofc)
Zombies not breaking legs (its the stronges bone in the human skeleton ffs + unless its an animal like a dog)
Customizable weapons, removable scopes, silencers etc.
Working humanity system (not getting murders with self-defense)
Military grade armors, vests etc
Explosives, lots of them
Destructible buildings as seen in Battlefield
Lockable objects = safes, only able to store a few small things, nothing larger than a pistol, perhaps concievable with camo, instead of using the tents that you can spot from quite a distance, even if its in the middle of a forest

Start in Elektro. Some random dude is there as well, no weapons. Hes chased by 2 zombies and isntead of loosing them by passing through a building he starts sprinting towards me. Obviously he attracts all the nearby zombies, about 10...F-it, start to run as well. He keeps chasing me while bleeding.  Find a small storage building with a single entrance. Stand in the doorway, blocking him from entering. He keeps trying to get inside while hes being attacked by zombies. He looses consciousness. Close the door..."Player was killed".

And nothing of value was lost...

Got myself the fatality. The sound is amazing. Tho the microphone got me worried for a while. I didnt notice it at first but they made a grove for the hole where the jack goes. When i put it in i didnt got it right so there was no contact between the headphones and mic, i spent like two hours figuring out what could cause the mic not to work...But its fine now :)

Edit: Loading screens, those damn loading screens. I only found a handfull of servers that are fast when it comes to the loading but sometimes even they get odd. Like i connected to a UK server, i was in game within seconds, i had to go away for a few minutes so i logged out, then i tried the same serrver and got stuck in the loading for like 10 minutes.
Does the loading actually crash/freeze or should i just wait it out until i grow a beard?

So i got myself this game but im a bit sad. My microphone doesnt seem to work in Arma2/OA/DayZ.
Im using a crappy table mic. It works just fine in windows recording, steam, skype, ts and all the other voice com software. But Arma just doesnt want to work with it. Any tips what to do? I checked a few forums and tried their solutions but none of those helped.

I played the singleplayer as mellee char and it was quite fun, tho it was failry easy after about 3hours into the game, not sure if its because of the crafting or if i was simply too strong since i killed everything (exept civies, unless doing so for the lulz). Magic seems like the best ive seen in any games so far, the sheer ammount of combinations is ridiculous. Ranged seemed a bit low unless perhaps used in multi.

How is the multi these days? Playercount? Coop only or are there some "modes"?

Heh, the more i read and watch videos about DayZ, the more i see people mentioning lots of hackers around and how they are making their gameplay crap. So...why exactly are you playing this? :D
