From all the whining and bitching I gather chadz ruined the mod - again?

As for trading issues: What is the problem to trade between NA and EU territory? I keep reading things like the coastal towns are too close to each other in NA territory while the EU has nicely spread coastal towns. So? Trade with whoever you want to, you are not restricted to stick with towns in your own territory ...

It is great to see people crying about every single change each and every time. Has been like this for years and I will enjoy it for the remainder of my life because it beats crappy TV shows. Now go on flinging poop at each other and at chadz, because - obviously - this time he ruined the mod for good and killed the game.

Q: I told my character to move to a location but he is not going anywhere - why is this?
A: You cannot move your character if you are preparing for a battle or if you're inside a fief. Additionally, movement speed is currently set to 1/4 pixels per minute, so you may not notice if your character is moving or not in the short term.

I assume you do have a "real" character in the account as well, not just the one for PW retrieval's purpose? In that case, just go ahead and delete that pwr_... guy. You have your login name and pw so you can access the account from now on.

As for the Strategus map ... to be honest, I can't recall how I got there. Once you are logged in at www.c-rpg.net however you should be able to get there by browsing to http://strategus.c-rpg.net/ ... let me know if it worked (and someone who knows where the link to the map is, please let me know ;) ).

As usual you will see enough foul apples - but I think the ratio of decent people to rotten ones is quite good in c-RPG.
Nice to see that the community just grew by another decent guy.

You are a better man than I obviously ... I wish I could claim I only had to do it twice.

One more thing: the Q, M, P password reset in the game works nicely, but make sure to answer the question "Are you [ s ]ure?" with S instead of Y as explained in the password retrieval wizard online. ;)

I am referring in particular to the line "Confirm with Y (depending on keyboard, sometimes with Z). Follow the instructions.". And yes, it had me trying over and over again, never getting a new pw (or an error message for blindly obeying the wizard and typing Y every single time).

Seems like two eternities since I last played - do we still have one of the old maps of Strategus? I would like to have a memento of my lovely Elberl, the once safe haven for my poor people. ;)

Glad to see some old faces around in the forum. Lord DesDope is back and will hunt the lawless, protect the downtrodden and avenge the powerless. Just ... give it some time.
