cRPG Technical problems / Outdated version

I didn't know where else to put this:(
I haven't played cRPG for a while, and I decided to come back, I downloaded the latest mod from M&BRepository (said to be 0.240) and when I go in-game, the game spams my screen with red messages saying I have version 0.251 and the newest version is 0.253. Where can I download that version?
Cause in-game I now have some random armor and a German Greatsword I don't recall ever purchasing.
