My main is a thrower with MW jarids and something like 8 or 9 PT.
Mostly beneficial in Seige. In battle you get flanked to often by people with strange skills called Agility and Athletics.
Now, for STRAT few people care to have throwing weapons and when they do they are probably Wardarts or less in terms of damage.
Now, couple you're throwing with 60wpf in 1 hand or whatever skill with little agility and you are now essentially a sniper but move like a tank.
Once you get into that duel prepare to be turned into Cannibal stew.
Pros of throwing:
Instant Proficiency in Teamwounding
It annoys people when you kill them
Many Highs and LOLs
Jarids attach to flesh, shields and armour to make your enemies appear larger
Watch your enemy accumulate multiple wounds without him dying
Cons:
You definitely get laid more (or at least raped....any other class is capable)
My ultimate advice is - Throwing weapons are a sidearm, not a main.

I have had multi in strat before and it was good. Recently I haven't had mutliplyer in strat. How does it work? (I undertsand how it works on non-strat)

Welcome.
We are Ghuraba but in Strategus we maintained our alliances with the Rice Eaters and in Strategus we have now become a single federation - The Silk Road Federation
That's why in Strategus people left the faction.
Good decision too. Enjoying the many battles.

Strategus General Discussion / Server Browser - Not Showing EU3 (or Eu1 or 2)

Hi.
I applied for a battle, got on TS and continually tried to refresh (After refresh tab appears) and sometimes I just left it but the server never appeared (every other server did). Usually, on 1st load of server browsing I can't see EU1 and EU2 but it is annoying to get reliability knocked down based on Server browser problems.
Never had the issue before.
Edit - Now I can't even find EU1 or EU2.

Hi.
I was accepted into my clans battle.
I checked my browser and it says I was accepted into it.
I open the game and the battle begins. I am stuck in Spectator mode. I joined with my correct character.
Problem?

Suggestions Corner / Strategus Recruitment

Hi.
I like the game but the Strategus recruitment process weak and unreliable.
It would be good if it was a neccessity for factions to be forced to have some kind of briefing notice.
Also, when selecting recruits, it would be good if the recruits could only be selected once.
Example: I applied for a battle today
Naturally I wasn't selected until someone read my application
Then I was selected
Then I was deselected
Then I was selected
and now, I'm deselected again.
Why should someone be able to mess people around like that if it has an effect on their reliability stats?
It needs to be changed to only one selection or changed to multiple selections not having an effect on reliability because it isn't the reliability of the player that's the problem. It's the reliability of the commander to make a decision at fault.

Try to rename your character (in game) to the name it was previously (exactly the same).

Strategus Issues / Re: Stuck in River
« on: August 17, 2012, 11:59:01 pm »in the strategus action page click the Zoom link. When that opens you'll see a pixelized map of where your at. Move away from the river about an inch or so.
There should be no need for a reset of your position, plus this strategus is pretty much washed up.

Hi.
I tried to change tag like I have successfully done previously.
Only this time my stats were reset from Level 30.
My online profile has my character with the genuine statistics. In game, I have no stats.
What can I do?
Edit - I ignored the messge and equipped loudout and my stats appeared again. Bizzare and very scary bug lol
