Suggestions Corner / Battle rewards (Incentive to fight and survive)

I was thinking that there should be some sort of small reward for surviving until the end of a round. I am aware of valour, but maybe a minor variation of that if you simply fought and managed to make it to the end, but not if you sat in the back and hid in the corner.

Suggestions Corner / Repeating Crossbow?

The chinese repeating crossbow to be exact. My guess from the looks of it would be that it would allow the player to fire a quick succession of bolts at their target, of course sacrificing any actual stopping power and being reduced to being in a "anti-cloth" role and being useless against anyone with decent armor.

Suggestions Corner / Team Scramble Vote

Ever have one of those games where ALL the archers, crossbowmen, and/or TinCans were lumped onto one team? Which in turn leads to the utter annihilation of your team? I HATE it when that happens, which is why I think there should be a Team Scramble vote option or something to eliminate this problem.

Though, something tells me this is either impossible or would just be hard to implement.

Beginner's Help and Guides / Short Spear or Wakizashi?

I have been having trouble deciding whether to stick with polearms or 1 handers. I know the Waki is pretty fast, but the short spear is the fastest of the polearms. Which sounds better?
