Reading this thread just strengthens me in my decision to quit Crpg for good...

Well who to blame?
In my opinion its not just a single cause, but the causes have added up over time....

- getting bored by the game
- beeing frustrated with the nerfing and buffing lottery of weapons and armor
- lack of decent maps in map rotation

The fighting system was and still is one of the best I have experienced (compared to similar games) - especially the speed of the game was fascinating me.
But that has changed over the time - the game felt rather slow and has lost its unique fluency.
This unique fighting system was the main reason for me to keep playing and to overlook the other shortcomings (mentioned above) but without it....there isn't much left to stay for.

Hey,

got banned from EU with an alt after i reported a Thitter who has killed a teamember before...
After I asked why he did that he started hitting me and I reported him twice.

So he started a Ban-Poll...Here is the screenshot:

Im not asking for a BAN but I'd like to be unbanned for EU5

(+) As I said in another thread I appreciate the archer buff - it was needed since archery was a bit hard for new players...
Mabe if youll ask me again Ill be whining about getting shot so often but well  - all in all it was a good decision I think.
(+) Nudge for all is great - makes close combat more interesting. But: the cooldown for nudge/kick is way too long

(-) 0 Slots for Italian Falchion - together with 34 cut.....well we'll see where this is going
(-) speed/damage nerfs - i see the devs tried to balance it with a few buffs for selected 1h but well 1h didnt need a speed nerf. I'm sure more 1h will be whining about 2h and polearm speed compared to 1h.
(-) heavy crossbows (e.g. arbalest) didnt need a buff - really. Most high level players don't have to care about the additional upkeep at all.
(- ) awlpike buff? come on....

Well I appreciate the nudge for all - but the timer is a bit harsh...5 sec no nudge no kick is a bit much - I know it was done to avoid getting kick/nudge/knockdown combos - but well most of the players are not able to do that anyway...

Archer buff is great -  makes it more interesting for new players I think...

The steel-bolt buff was unnecessary I think - most of the high level players dont have to think so much about money....So the increased repairs wont hurt them that much. I guess I'll have to prepare for more oneshots now - annoying but well if there are not too many of them it is endurable.

Making the Italian Falchion 0 slots must have been a great mistake...What about the other small 1h weapons then? Cannot think of any sound reason for that decision (maybe bribing the balancer?).

I'd appreciate disabling stakes on siege.

Most of the time they not very well placed and hinder the team more then the enemy...
Often some attacker is spamming them at spawn which is just annoying...
Although they seem to be very buggy....At least they can be placed almost everywhere and if you're walking on newly spawning stakes it almost certain death...

Most reason have been told already but well...

But the most annoying thing about them is the numbers you get to see from time to time...
More then once i have seen a complete courtyard covered with stakes.

I fixed it! I was trying the key which is on the mount&blade dvd but i found a different key on steam(View cd-key). I wrote it and it worked. You can give it a try.

I did.
And I even started the repair option but still...

Tried it again (with launcher) and still the same problem - also getting weird Skript errors during the game...
I'll guess something is wrong on my side so I'll just make a clean install...

When trying to mute a player (by klicking Mute Player in the Options Menu) I get an error message and the game closes instantly...
Happened three times in a row and I still cant mute anyone...
Not sure if this is only happening for me but never had that problem before...

I'll try to get the error code next time.

RGL Error

"Invalid opcode 18"
