Are you a shielder? 18/18 is fantastic. You can wear super heavy body armour and still move fast AND soak up lots of damage while you repeatedly hack away at your enemies with your pathetic 1-hander sword. That's what I do.

SHIELDWALL!

I'm planning builds on all my characters for level 32 now that they've added this feature. Retirement kind of sucks hard because you're at a peak and then you're a peasant - and you grinded (ground?) 4 million XP for only 4 million XP worth of ass-kickery. But if you wait to hit level 33 before you retire, you're only grinding to level 30 for 4 million XP compared to the 32 million (or whatever, I'm assuming that's the right number, I kind of hope to god it isn't more) to get to 33. Less grind, more success, and a masterwork worth of looms when you finally do retire (because Tempered and Heavy and Thickened things kind of aren't worth it).

Of course this paradigm assumes in general that you play too much cRPG... and I of course have an alt for everything (except rangers and crossbowmen because you kind of have to be a dick to play CoD on cRPG).

Give all players as much experience as the oldest player in the game and give everyone free access to all masterwork items for all time and remove upkeep and let me change my build between deaths and change the gamemode to Team Deathmatch and change the name of the mod from cRPG to Native.

Do you get more than 1 heirloom point if you retire above level 31?

obvious lobbying to stop us from nerfing your build.

Nah, just trolling for Renown.

I do my share of whining and calling for nerfs, but...

I wanted to say that this game is really awesome and well-balanced. I was playing some Native last week, and, let me tell you: if you ever think your build is getting the short end of the stick, hop onto a Native Team Deathmatch server. Grab your Great Lance, turn 90 degrees in the saddle, and stab some dude on the other side of the map. Outspam a Scimitar with your Great Bardiche. Get stuck on the Sarranid team and curse your life.

I will continue to complain about the builds that are not mine because it's a good way to vent the stress that is forced into the small of my back when a couched lance strikes me there. But, in all seriousness, this game is amazing because more or less every build is viable in some way.

Thank you, devs.

P.S. Nerf archery.

Probably the most important result of adding crouching would be everyone humping dead bodies with their crotches.

And I for one support this.

My friends introduced me to cRPG, but now they rarely play--more or less because of rage.

This is a pretty elite mod. Pretty much anyone can jump on the Native TD servers anytime and crush their enemies, but it takes a long time to get half-decent at cRPG. I still can't reliably earn myself a positive K/D ratio during a battle after playing for a year and switching to easy-mode (i.e. 2h). Might be hard to sell the public on this game BECAUSE THE PUBLIC IS A RABBLE.

Right on, TurboFlex. Great idea. This should be implemented.
