As a perpetually low tier, part-time player who sucks in melee and thus relies on lancer cav or crossbow each generation or respec, I'd like to say that if this concern over gameplay balance was ignored by the modders and reality was adhered too, people would adjust.  Lets be fair, the state of the game is a free for all battle with hardly anything tactical about it, much less formations.  So 1 handers and 2 handers complaining lancers are OP, no SHIT, it's what happened in REALITY.  Stay close to polearms or go and do your free for all and stop whining.  But why are you even whining, my crossbow character had a 2h as a secondary weapon and as shitty as I play all around, it is easier killing a charging lancer with my utter lack of skill with a 2h than it is to kill a 2h with my lack of skill with a lance.  Thus I am impressed upon sincerely, that the ones complaining about lancers are utter bundle of stickss.

Game balance should be controlled by upkeep and thus equipment costs, not determined with class vs. class bitching and whining.  How any infantry without a pike or polearm can whine about lancers given the current state of the game and cost of horse is beyond belief.  50% of us are below average players, and I know those who are complaining about lancers here are the guys who are having trouble with the half-dozen lancers at the top of the list who are awesome, and not the rest of us they skewer with a 2 hander the rest of the time.

Great looking mods, except I can't see where my bolts are going or where they land.  Anyone know how to change back to the vanilla bolts while keeping the rest of the goodies.

Roger that.  It was awfully easy to kill jumpers last I focused on cav, I will try to adjust my tactic now thank you fellas.

Dear CRPG,

I started playing as a heavy cav character for the first time in a while.  It seems changes were made such that melee players are capable of jumping through my horse (and lance it looks like) to stab me.  As an example, I just got killed by a player who actually jumped from the right to left side of the horse as I charged, passing through poor Seabiscuit and my lance waist down with no contact .  Then he cut my head off with a katana in mid air.  This kind of occurrence seems normal enough with all the good players out there, that I am wary of attacking melee characters who see me coming.  While it seems possible to make contact with jumping characters using a lance, often it appears the lance or horse passes through their body midair with no contact.  I can't recall experiencing this a few months ago and it feels silly.

Perhaps this is as intended.  If anyone, especially super OP heavy cav players, will enlighten me to any changes in mechanics with cav over the last few months, and how to handle the situation of jumping melee characters, this noob would appreciate that.

General Discussion / Password issue for CRPG website

Hi,

I am unable to get into my account on your website since I switched over to the laptop.  I have added clan tags recently perhaps this is the problem.  I use your new password feature in game which continually fails.  I have tried the pwx_xxx_vjf or whatever feature several times and never works.  I do notice that it tells me to use my old characters name to login.  This fails.  I get the notice "invalid login or x5 wrong login".

The name it request me to login is CSA_stonewallis but the new name after name change about 10 days ago is Stonewallis_of_Jerusalem.  And no I haven't been auto block banned I get into games fine.  I just can't access my character page.

Compared to all the axes and javelins I get stuck in my head and chest, it makes the old Legolas archers seem rather non-threatening.  Polearm/Xbow guy here so opinions may be biased.
