1h upperswing is still the hardest one for me to block.
I think the most common 1h build these days is more agility then str... so something near 15/21 or even 15/24 i would think.

Im really sorry, but saying that Hoplites are Op or have the fastes animation is BS.
The only time they do really well, is for supporting or if ignored. On  a 1v1 situation, every idiot should be able to kill a hoplite, if they cant they suck. If im not mistaken, 1h left swing is still the fastes animation out there and even get me started on 2h stab.

For shields, i my self is only using a 3 shield skill shield, cause i only got 3 shield skill. 
Shields is still a great item to have in close quarters.. You can block 4 direction on the same time,they does brake a bit faster then they used to. My shield normally breakes when an axe pounds on it, otherwise it rarely brakes

That nudge thing is OP as fuck... Its so easy to land, stuns almost as much as a kick and it hardly gives you any delay on your following attack.
Im not even sure why you wanted to buff 1h's, they are pretty strong without it.
If you want to be a 1h without a shield, be my guest.. you already get a damage buff from that if im not wrong. No need to make them even stronger, with a OP moving kick...
Give back Polestun!!

I got a fairly decent hoplite build, keep in mind im currently lvl 32 and the build will be done in lvl 34. Goal is 21/24
with 7ps and 0 if

lvl 32
Attribute points:0
Strength:18
Agility:24

Weapon Master:5
Athletics:8
Shield:3
Power Strike:6
Polearm:149
Im using medium armor with Round shield and Ashwood pike.

Two different weapons - the kantana wasnt made for blocking an incomming attack but rather avoiding it... The longsword could be used as blocking...
But 40 cut and 40 thrust on a kantana?

30xp extra per tick? .... thats alot mate, and lvl 20 is so easy to reach.
Rather have a lvl 20 stf aswell as a lvl 30... bonus for retirement at lvl 20 would make it even more easy to advance.


Edit : Doh i didnt really read the " you cant get past lvl 20" thing... nontheless, ill stick to the STF character at lvl 20 aswell as 30

The thing is - 27/15 is a strong build... but the warhammer might be a bit short for that build. If you are up against any guy who knows how to play he will simply out-range you.
I would go for atleast 90+ range, anything with 9 ps hurts

Before this upkeep system, every1 were running around in either black armor or that heavy trans with hourglass, mail mittens or W/E.
unless you had a decent wep with a great amount of WP you would'nt be able to hit him.
Im just saying, i dont think you would go back to the "old" days.... this way you have a chance to kill ppl

If you have a problem with archers - either get in cover behind a house or a tree....
If every1 can carry a shield you will take away the advantage of the 1h build.

Btw, if you had your speed altered when you picked up a shield... How in earth would you be able to chase the archer?

The new "lvl cap" were made so that new players dont get one hittet by a lvl 45 2h user with 300+ WPP as they did before the new lvl system.
