cRPG Technical problems / on Battle server crashes and on Siege server I am wrong character w/ wrong equip

I was logged in ok and playing the game last night. Today, when i try going into Battle server it crashes to the desktop as soon as it says Welcome..just before you pick your character and faction and equipment..
When I try going into Siege server it lets me in, but my equipment screen is empty...for about 5 seconds...then it mysteriously shows equipment that I never purchased...I say ok and I can play successfully, but my character is a FEMALE and has stupid choices of equipment!!!!
I tried restarting the game a few times, rebooted my PC...always same result!
HELP
Anybody got a clue?
