Strategus General Discussion / Re: Strategus FAQ
« on: October 27, 2011, 02:45:19 am »
You can't walk over rivers, the only way to pass over one is on a bridge.  If you can't see what direction you need to move to get away from the water, click on "zoom" in the Strategus Action Menu and it'll show were you are in relation to the water.  You're a tiny red dot in the center, water is aqua color and land is green.

that doesn't really answer the question at all.  i've been putting it to move away from the position into a clearing and i'm still not moving in 24hrs :\

ok...it's been a week and i really can't tell my character has moved at all since starting strategus and i've even had quick march activated....is there some sort of pathing issue where if you click on a city and a curve of a river appears it hinders the movement?  i feel like i'm missing something important here...

General Discussion / Re: A startling development (the naked losers event)

thought i'd try my HA and see what archery was like with new patch before i qq'd it.  my horse was too high riding for me to get now with level so i was already grounded....i only wear basic armor on him anyhow (steppe robe type stuff) only good gear is the khergit bow...which promptly became a bent khergit bow after one round.  trying to use bows feels like swimming in molasses now.  yeah things were out of whack somewhat before patch..but at least i had fun.  now i don't know if i'll bother with crpg in the state it's at now.  i had just purchased some stuff before the patch and had very little gold today (1400) and after 2 rounds i'm negative gold.  easier to earn gold eh?  forget that.  back to native for me i guess. :(  i'll miss you old school crpg.
