Thanks for the response.

Oh wow, that doesn't sound good. My friend bought be a copy of the game and sent me the cd key (we haven't seen each other in awhile, so I don't have the hard copy of the game yet). I didn't think it could get mixed up like that.

Okay, so I started playing recently. I created a character and all that good stuff, then made my account on crpg.net. However, I consistantly have trouble logging in. I use different browsers, log in as different users on my computer, and completely erase all cookies and internet history. Almost every time I log in I have to change my password. That's problem #1.

The second problem was the first time after I changed my password and logged in. When I finally got back on I had my character (Bronheiden) plus a bunch of other characters in there (mainly low level).

That is where the third problem comes into play. One of the other characters was higher level and apparently it's user had created a forum account in the past. Since his character and account got tacked onto mine, I now can't create my own forum account. If I did, I would put in my own information and use the name "Bronheiden", but I can't now. Only one forum account per crpg master account. Am I just stuck using someone else's profile now? The master account is mine, but not this forum account.
